Ctuit Software was founded in January, 2000 with the intention to deliver high powered, low cost decision support tools to the hospitality and retail industries.

Ctuit is the brainchild of Rob D'Ambrosia who started the company in the midst of the dot com bust. Using the experience gained as a POS installer and IT Director at Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurants, Rob developed and implemented a Software as a Service (SaaS) business model for Ctuit. While other startups were pursuing the dot com dream, Ctuit was concentrating on building a great product without incurring great debt. Because of this sensible, brick-and-mortar philosophy, Ctuit not only survived the following bust, but managed to grow by several hundred percent.

Ctuit enjoys a 99% client retention rate and now services over 1,800 restaurants nationwide. In 2007, Ctuit opened up a second office in Houston, Texas. This allowed the company to expand in support of their ever-growing client base which stretches from coast to coast. In 2008, we released our second generation product, Radar, which added modules for Inventory, Recipe Costing, and an Online Manager's Log to our existing core business intelligence software.
